Our clinic

For the team at Dr. Joan Ramis dental clinic, dentistry means a lot more than the science of oral and dental health!

In fact, we understand that oral health is a really important part of our general health and human comfort, as scientific studies have also pointed out. That’s why when we take care of our patients we want to restore not only the oral health but the general well being as well.

Signed by Dr. Joan Ramis Matas and his team.

Commitment to quality

Achieving the European certification of quality UNE-APPLUS was not easy, indeed, there are only few dental clinics which have passed an audit of this type. In fact we are the only certified clinic at Majorca’s east coast! However, we think that quality is not only indicated by an official seal, but it is also demonstrated through the professional competence of the team, the state of the facilities, and above all, the personalized care and counseling provided to each of our patients. Achieving the total satisfaction of those who put their trust in us is the real seal of quality we are aspiring for.

Ability and competence

The fact that we are a smallish practice does not prevent us from offering a comprehensive proposal in terms of dental treatments and solutions in the way that large clinics often do. Our facilities are on a top quality level, and our team stands out for its experience and know how. Furthermore, we have external specialists who duly attend our clinic offering special treatments directly here in Port de Pollença. That’s why we are glad and proud to say the we are an all-round clinic with all the dental specialties.

The way we care

Every person is unique, every patient is different, and not just from a dentist’s point of view. We define our dental practice by meeting peoples’ needs, listening to their worries and respecting their concerns. Being a small dental clinic is a huge advantage as we are able to establish a really personal relationship based on trust, better than anybody else.

History and tradition

It is not enough for dentistry to be a profession; it has to be a passion, a real vocation that must be practiced with true proficiency. This way of thinking, this tradition, goes back to the year 1958 when Dr. Juan Ramis Aloy started his dental practice in Palma de Mallorca and Sa Pobla. He was followed by his son, Dr. Joan Ramis Matas, who has developed the same passion for dentistry and who owns the current dental clinic in Puerto Pollensa, opend in 1996.
